The Outsider has his truth, but his
truth is different from the truth of the people or the truth of academic
philosophers. The truth of the people is - or it pretends to be - necessary,
dogmatic, absolute truth. The Way of The Outsider is not absolute truth, but it
is nonetheless essential, primal truth. Absolute truth is true for everyone;
regardless of whether or not a particular Individual worked to discover it,
regardless of whether or not he believes it or believes in it.
But The Way of The Outsider is a
reversal of this dogmatism; it is essential, Existential truth, but it is not
true for the particular Outsider if he does not discover it for him-Self. The
particular Outsider has to work to discover The Way. That is, he has to have
Faith in its Existence.
